So what is going on here this week for TheToyRoom-REDUX.com, and our sister site, TheBreauxShow.com?
Well sadly I did not get to go out and see Sucker Punch this weekend like I wanted, but hopefully this weekend I can play catch up on movies I wanna see, including Sucker Punch, and Paul! I can guarantee at least one of those movies will be seen this weekend and then reviewed here and on a future episode of The Breaux Show.
However, there were some updates to the site last week as late as last night eve, when I put up the written review for the Transformers: Reveal the Shield figure of Wreck-Gar! And with this guy there was even a video review of him too.
There was also a new episode of The Breaux Show put out last Friday as well, with a little bit of new Toy and Geek News, such as the debut of the Wonder Woman costume for the new TV show…wowsers!
What’s on tap for this week? Well hopefully a new media based review, most likely on a DVD movie, or maybe a new TV show I watched over the weekend or this week, who knows. My media reviews are based on whatever really catches my eye for the week, and thus far with my internet now fixed completely, I have been really catching up on old school stuff on Netflix. What’s got my eye right now? The old show Robotech, with Rick Hunter, Lisa Hayes, and Min-Mei. Ahhh, such good stuff…maybe my thoughts on the shows I have watched thus far….we shall see.
There has been lots of great geeky news this weekend too, and through the week I will post those updates to the site, and include all I can in this week’s episode of The Breaux Show. A certain redheaded actress (that I adore!) has a new role to play in the movie reboot of one of the most famous comic book heroes of our time. I can’t wait to see how she does…
And of course this weekend is the GI Joe Convention down in Florida, and I will bring you as much of the news as I can over the weekend and in the following episode of The Breaux Show too. There are a few sites I go to for Joe News, and any news I report here I will make sure to give credit where credit is due. Maybe next year I will be able to go myself and report directly from there…anyone want to sponsor my trip for next year now?
Oh – and with a GI Joe convention this weekend, how about this week I review one (maybe two) of the more recent POC, or Pusrsuit of Cobra, figures from the line? Who will be reviewed? Check back later this week to find out…one might even get the Two-Minute Toy Review video treatment….
That’s all for now, as always if you have any ideas, comments, or questions, leave them below or email me at TheMatrix8475@thetoyroom-redux.
Rock on everybody!
